Privacy Policy
1. PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: August 27, 2026. Last updated: August 13, 2026.
Who We Are
Pivotal Labs (“Pivotal Labs,” “we,” “us” or “our”) operates the website at pivotallabs.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors of the Site and to anyone who submits an inquiry through it.
Information We Collect
INFORMATION YOU GIVE US DIRECTLY
Name, email address and, if provided, organization name.
The inquiry type you select (Executive Endurance Leadership, Endurance Coaching, Organizations, Speaking, or Partnership/Media).
Anything you write in the “What are you preparing for?” and optional follow-up fields.
Any other information you choose to include in a message to us.
INFORMATION COLLECTED AUTOMATICALLY
Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages visited, collected through our hosting platform (Squarespace) and any analytics tool in use.
Cookie data — see the Cookie Policy below for full detail.
How We Use Information
To respond to your inquiry and have a conversation about fit, scope and next steps.
To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site.
To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site (which pages are read, where people drop off) so we can make it clearer.
To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
A Note on Sensitive Information
Who We Share Information With
We share information only with the service providers that make the Site and our business work, for example:
Squarespace — our website host, form processor and (if enabled) analytics provider.
Email provider — to receive and respond to inquiries sent through the Site.
Scheduling tool (if in use) — to book conversations, once selected. [Confirm tool before launch.]
Each of these providers processes information only as needed to provide their service to us. We do not use a separate advertising or ad-retargeting platform at this time; if that changes, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated first.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep inquiry information for as long as it is useful to the conversation it relates to, and afterward only as needed for our own business records, tax and legal obligations, or to keep a history of a working relationship. You can ask us to delete information that isn’t needed for those purposes — see “Your Choices” below.
Your Choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below.
You can decline non-essential cookies through your browser settings or, where offered, a cookie preference banner on the Site.
If you subscribe to any future newsletter or email list, every email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We rely on our hosting and email providers’ security practices (e.g., Squarespace’s platform security) and take reasonable steps to protect the information we control. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
International Visitors
This Site is operated from the United States. If you are visiting from outside the United States, understand that any information you provide will be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country. [If Pivotal Labs intends to actively market to EU/UK visitors, add GDPR-specific language — legal basis for processing, data subject rights, and an EU representative if required — before launch.]
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site, our tools, or our practices change. We will post the revised policy here with a new “last updated” date.

Terms of Use
Acceptance of Terms
By using pivotallabs.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. These Terms apply alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
What Pivotal Labs Provides
Pivotal Labs provides coaching, education, workshops and speaking under four engagement paths: Executive Endurance Leadership, Endurance Coaching, Organizations and Speaking. These services are educational and performance-focused.
“Race-Morning Readiness,” where referenced, describes a standard of preparation — not a guaranteed result.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to submit an inquiry or engage Pivotal Labs’ services directly. If you are inquiring on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to do so.
Site Content and Intellectual Property
All text, graphics, the Pivotal Labs name and logo, and other content on the Site are owned by Pivotal Labs or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not reproduce, republish or commercially use Site content without our written permission.
Testimonials and User Submissions
Any testimonial, quote or case study published on the Site is used with the permission of the person it describes, and is presented to reflect that person’s individual experience — it is not a guarantee that you will have the same experience. If you submit information to us (through the inquiry form or otherwise), you confirm it is accurate and that you have the right to share it.
Links to Other Sites
The Site may link to third-party sites (for example, social media profiles or a scheduling tool). We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don’t warrant that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pivotal Labs and Peter Iccabazzi will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or its content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. [An attorney should confirm this section matches the entity structure you choose and Utah law.]
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Pivotal Labs harmless from claims, losses or damages arising from your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Site or our services change. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Cookie Policy
This site uses Squarespace's built-in analytics and essential cookies only. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking.
What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device to remember information about your visit. This Site uses cookies for a few limited purposes, described below.
Cookies This Site Uses
Essential / platform cookies — set automatically by Squarespace to make the Site function (loading pages correctly, remembering form progress, security). These can’t be turned off without breaking basic site function.
Analytics cookies — used to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site — which pages are read and how people navigate — so we can improve it. [Confirm before launch: Squarespace Analytics only, or also Google Analytics or another tool — update this section to match what’s actually installed.]
Social sharing cookies — if any page embeds a social share button or embedded post (e.g., LinkedIn or Instagram), that platform may set its own cookie when you interact with the embed. Pivotal Labs does not control these third-party cookies.
Pivotal Labs does not currently use advertising or ad-retargeting cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those cookies are enabled.
Managing Cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the Site functions, including the inquiry form.
If a cookie consent banner is enabled on the Site, you can set your preferences there at any time.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the tools we use change. We will post the revised policy here with a new “last updated” date.
